Paul Stephenson of Solwise surveying all that the bank owns!!

Paul Stephenson is Managing Director and co-founder of Solwise. His background is as an electronic design engineer with experience in fields as diverse as Power Audio and Lab. Instrumentation. Paul gained his BSc at Hull University and worked for a couple of years as a research assistant in the electronic engineering department. He is the proud father of two children. Paul has recently gained his private pilots licence.

Dr. Steve Mace is the Company Secretary and co-founder of the company. His background is in chemistry but moved into IT under the missguided idea it was a way to make more money! Steve gained his BSc at York University and his PhD at Hull University researching Catalytic Chemistry. His principle job function at Solwise is in the evaluation of new products and, for his sins, he is our networks guru. Steve is also quite handy at fixing roller doors!

Louise Barrett is responsible for building awareness of new products and services that Solwise has to offer as well as building on the relationships with existing customers. Her background has always been in sales & marketing. She is also responsible for keeping the website up-to-date and administering the forum. Louise's main interests include wine & chocolate.

John Kitson was drafted in to relieve Steve of the increasing burden of technical support. His somewhat diverse career ranges from operating theatre technician to cabinet maker via driving buses in Leeds, before succumbing to an addiction to computers in the 1990's. When not dealing with the demands of a large dysfunctional family John enjoys having spare time. He can usually be found mumbling and singing to himself in the corner of the office.

Mark Parnwell - Mark offers telephone tech support on a wide range of the Solwise hardware. He is our resident expert on making antenna cables. Mark also helps out despatch at peak times.

Marks interests include DJing, making his own music and eating burgers!.

Dr Rod Souter - Rod retired from teaching and found being at home with 'she who wants to be obeyed' too much! Rod is responsible for our warehouse and packing area. The stock room has never been so tidy!

Rod is known as Mr Grumpy and can be found in the packing room moaning about large complicated orders as well as having 40 winks after lunch!

Mike Ellerker - Mike is the jack of all trades at Solwise. In the main, he works in the Stock room helping out with despatch, cable making & stock control. At busy times he can be found in front of a computer helping out with sales admin. Mike is an entertaining character teaching us all some new language skills - pro noblem! Mike is also a keen member of the local Pirate Society!

Despatch is getting more dangerous these days!!!

Leanne Smith - Leanne is responsible for Sales Admin. Her interests include going to watch Hull FC rugby team and travelling.

Rik Hutchcroft - Rik has joined from his handyman business. After popping in to change a router he left with a job! He is helping John in tech support and offering advice on the phones. His main intrests include .22 target shooting and flight sims.
