Wireless Management Solution
The EnGenius Neutron Series of wireless management products can be mixed and matched to create ideal wireless connectivity solutions for hotels, resorts, high schools, universities, corporate campuses, sports stadiums and arenas and for other companies and organizations.
This is a scalable solution for operations that occupy large properties and that need to deploy, monitor, and manage numerous EnGenius EWS Wireless Access Points from one simple and accessible browser-based software platform. EWS Switches can support any small number of EWS Wireless Access Points to several hundred depending on the number of EWS Switches in the network.
The EnGenius Neutron Series EWS7928FP is a Neutron Series Managed Wireless solution Full Power (370W) 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2 Switch with 4 Dual-Speed SFP ports and supply up to 50 Neutron Series Wireless Access Points to provide a single location with which to configure the entire wireless network. The EWS7928FP is the ideal solution for businesses and schools, delivering centralized management via an intuitive interface- without the costs that accompany full-service wireless controllers. With a single entry of wireless parameters and security settings that can be simultaneously applied to Neutron Access Points configure as a cluster on the network, the system dramatically simplifies the deployment and daily management of the wireless network. Configuration changes can easily be applied to multiple Access Points or to the entire system simultaneously.
A feature rich controller that can deply and manage up to 50 Neutron Series AP's
Lets IT managers keep track of, map out, and create clusters of Neutron Series Access Points in the network. Gives network administrators the visibility to monitor, manage and adjust settings in real time. Controller interface displays usage reports for real time and historical client connectivity to each Neutron Series Access Point as well as traffic flow and load over both wired and wireless portions of the network.

Gives Network Administrators the power to manage PoE usage on a port-by-port basis
The Switch's User Interface allows IT managers the ability to allocate just the amount of wattage they need per port to power specific PoE client devices to conserve as much of their Neutron Series Switch’s total PoE budget as possible. Including more Neutron Series Switches to the network gives administrators the ability and versatility to substantially and rapidly scale their networks and to provide just the right Neutron Series Switch necessary to provide wireless connectivity or surveillance in a part of the network previously unserved.
Network visibility by topology, floor plan or map views
Keep track of, map out, and plan the placement of Access Points and Switches in a network. Network administrators can view a representation of the topology of a cluster in the network as well as search for Access Points via their IP or MAC address in Topology, Floor Plan or Map Views. They can also see how many client devices are connected to each AP and drill down further to see the real time or historical bandwidth usage by each client. The Topology View also displays EnGenius Neutron or other third-party switches so administrators can see if a new switch has been introduced into the network as well as much more.

|*PoE switches and injectors can be used to power PoE compliant devices up to the total power output supported for the LAN port and the switch or injector as a whole.
Users must ensure that their connected device keeps within the maximum PoE power permitted per LAN port of the switch or injector and also the total power for all connected devices is less than the maximum total PoE power that the switch or injector can provide. For example, if the PoE switch is maximum 30W per port (so it conforms to 802.11at) but the maximum PoE power for the switch is 60W and the access point you are connecting is 18W maximum then, even if the switch has 8 PoE LAN ports, you can still only power a maximum of three access points.
Damage caused to the switch or injector by over loading the power budget is NOT covered by warranty.
